Subject: [CB] Hammond Castle

I played a gig at Hammond Castle a number of years ago, although at that
time the big organ was not operating.  The gig was with a 15-piece big band.
We took one look at the narrow room with 3-story high stone walls and
thought that it was going to be impossible to hear anything.  It turned out
that the acoustics are wonderful, there are all sorts of false walls and
hidden sound absorbing rooms.  I would guess that the organ at low volume
would sound wonderful inside as well. I wandered around a bit 'inside' the
organ behind the walls, I'm not an expert but there were A LOT of pipes.
