Here's one I just recently ran across:

*Mark Dresser "Banquet" (1997 Tzadik, TZ7027).  This CD contains two works,
Banquet, and Loss of the Innocents.  The first work is scored for string
quintet (vln, vln, vla, cello, & Mark Dresser on string bass) plus Matthias
Ziegler on flutes (picc, soprano, alto, bass, contrabass, and flute with
Matusi membrane head joint).  The bass and contrabass flutes really stand
out!  The second work is scored for clarinet, cello, and tuba (Marcus
Rojas), and makes use of extended techniques on the tuba (at least it
sounds that way to me!).  The sound overall is pretty modern, but not too
discordant.  Worth checking out.
