Contrabass Digest: 2005-01-04

"Augustana College in Rock Island IL would like to invite those interested to a contrabassoon event. Our guest artist is Susan Nigro, contrabassoonist. Susan will present a masterclass at 3:15 PM and a recital at 4:30PM. The date is Saturday January 22, 2005. The event is held in Wallenberg Hall upstairs in the Denkmann building of the Augustana College Campus. The building faces 7th Avenue near 38th Street in Rock Island. This presentation is free and open to the public. Come and hear the contrabassoon in a solo setting and learn the history and other interesting facts about the instrument.
