I've just read an article about the Euro currency (the British press is full
of stuff about it, pro- and anti-) which claims that the coins just about to
be issued throughout much of Europe are "dirty", being full of metals such
as Nickel, and that everyone in the Eurozone is going to get eczema and I
don't know what. Well, wind players get plenty of contact with metals -
Nickel included. Does anyone get skin problems?

My mother has allergies to metals, including nickel & silver.  She had to give up on most earrings, necklaces,
bracelets, watches (other than plastic), etc. years ago.  She gets horrible swelling & rashes.  24 ct. gold is
about the only metal that doesn't get to her.
