Subject: [CB] Subcontrabass Recorder!

Just found a small picture of a very large recorder!
No details. Anyone know anything about it?
I've spent the last few weeks concentrating on my alto sackbut playing what
with a paying gig at King Richard's Faire in Carver, MA. Imagine that! A
PAYING gig on alto sackbut! I joined a couple of early music groups at Tufts
Univ. and have seen many new things, or should I say old style instruments,
including cornettos, shawms, violas da gamba, lap harp, bass lute and the
bass dulcian! Great sounds. Still looking forward to meeting my first bass
rackett! Interesting month!
