OK, our next trip is now planned: we've committed to the "1,000
Saxophones on the Great Wall of China" trip next May (see
http://www.nuclearwhales.com/china.htm). Even paid the deposit. Now
the question is which horn to bring: will they take a sarrusophone to
help out in the contrabass register, or should I bring the sopranino
for ease in carry-on?...Anybody else planning to attend?

I know, in July and August everybody is on vacation in Vienna.
but there's a lot more than the opera, Schönbrunn castle and the Spanish
riding school etc.
Here in Vienna exists an incredible scene for contemporary music. In spring
and autumn there're several very interesting festivals.
So I'm looking forward to see you next time you come to Vienna.Uli
