Subject: reply to Jim Lande re; CB clarinetDear Jim, I bought the previous Selmer Rosewood Contra-alto clarinet auctioned on Ebay. It seems to be absolutely without fault in response and voicing throughout the entire range. The upper notes speak easily and clearly. The horn is mechanically "tight", and the pads have been renewed recently. I suspect that this horn is about 30 years old...

Looks like the basse de mussette didn't reach the reserve price - even though it went as high as $6.6K... We'll probably see that back on the listings in a few days...
