Subject: [CB] old music

Thanks to all for your requests and help.  I have decided where the old
music will go.  The Shrine to Music in Vermilion , South Dakota will be the
recipient of the band music from the Royalton City Band.  The Shrine will
also present info on the band and their director (my husband's grandfather).
I know his family will appreciate the tribute as he directed the band for
over 50 years.  And, as a native South Dakotan I am happy to see the music
end up in my home state.  I will be delivering it to them next month as I
was planning a trip to the museum to see the instruments.  I hear it is
quite spectacular.

There are still some boxes of non-vintage music.  I will be going through it
and taking a look at the skill level and will make a decision where it would
best "fit".

Thanks again to all of you for your interest and suggestions.

if you are looking for this museum, the town is Vermillion and the museum is in
the University of South Dakota, near the borders of Nebraska and Iowa.  http://www.usd.edu/smm/

What I want to see is the museum at the University of Northwest South Dakota (at Hoople)   ;-)

PS - if you are traveling through that general area, a visit to the "House on
the Rock" in Wisconsin will result in views of some very strange musical
instruments (including many fake ones)
