>sande hackelHi Sande,
A few quick questions: can you tell who made the sarrusophone? Any
manufacturer's info at all (usually there is a trademark on the bell,
on the side facing the player)? Is that the case for the horn
standing behind the chair in the pictures? And finally, is there a
bocal/crook for it?I wonder what Oberloh would charge to restore it...
Thanks,
Grant

Subject: [CB] Bass dulzianI am interested in buying a bass dulzian but due to the lack of players not
only in my state, but in the entire country the oppurtunities to try
different brands has never eventuated. I am currently borrowing a Meock

Subject: Re: [CB] Sarrusophone FS!I can find no trade mark on this horn. I remember there being one, must be
going senile. What I remember was a small one, just a one word name, but I
can't find anything now. The case below the horn is an old Selmer triple
case (alto sax, fl. &cl.), just a handing resting place for the horn during
the picture. I guess I should have put a cloth down while taking the
picture. No bocal.

Pleae allow me to indulge a pet peeve: the English word for this instrument
is curtal. Dulzian (or dulcian) is German.

sarrusophone. Looks like it could be a sarrusophone case or a
trombone case.Could the trademark have been Conn?
