Subject: [CB] Subwoofer!Hi,
Finally broke down and got a subwoofer yesterday, Father's Day being
a convenient excuse. Considering that our previous stereo system was
running a pair of small Bose speakers, the subwoofer makes an
incredible amount of difference. The first thing I put on was Gordon
Jacob's "Variations on Annie Laurie": for those who don't recall, the
orchestration includes two contrabass clarinets, two contrabassoons,
subcontramonster tuba, serpent, contrabass serpent, heckelphone,
hurdy-gurdy, harmonium, and two piccolos. The subwoofer *really*
helps ;-) Can't believe I waited this long to connect one...Grant
