Doesn't Renton Tech (JJ's school) offer job placement?! Perhaps NAPBIRT has a
list of openings or at least a list of techs in the Denver area. For that
matter you might get a list of repair techs from either Allied Tools or one
of the other tool companies whose names don't come to mind immediately. Let
me know how you make out! I'm planning to attend Renton next April for their
repair course. I may have to light a fire under the administration to get
them to hire ME to handle their job placement program! Perhaps that's a job I
can hand from here on the opposite coast and continue with when I get on
campus. Hey! here's a longshot, but it might work! Redwing Voke in Minnesota
DOES have job placement. Perhaps you could persuade them to tell you about
openings in the Denver area! Couldn't hurt to try! Maybe a small bribe or
even just agree to contact them if you find any more repair tech openings in
Denver when you get there!
Good Luck, JJ!!!

I don't know much about the Denver area, but about 45 minutes north of
Denver (in Fort Collins) there's a repair shop.  I don't know if they need a
job filled, but if you're highly trained I'm sure they would at least talk
to you and give you some alternatives.
