Ive played the 76 Trombones piece several times with the Concord Band in
MA;  it's a lot of fun to play and a great crowd pleaser. Leroy Anderson
made the arrangement years ago for orchestra and the concert band
version of his arrangement was published in '96 or '97.

Sounds like a lot of fun! I'll have to look for this arrangement!
My favorite arrangement for this piece so far is the performance for Boston
Sackbut Week maybe 15 years ago where about 152 trombonists from soprano to
bass, valvers and sliders marched down Mass. Ave from Berklee College of
Music to Symphony Hall where we were seated to listen to Ron Barron's solos
accompanied by the Boston Pops until it was time to play one of 6 trombone
parts that came in the middle of the piece, led by Phil Wilson on his buccin
trombone. What a sound!
