Hey, there's a bass saxophone in the backround band for the Steve
Martin Saturday Night Live skit "King Tut." You can hear it and see it
in the back, the guy playing it is standing next to the trombone
player. He has dreadlocks, and he's wearing an egyptian costume. It's a
bass, not a bari.

It's a very old clip on an "All Steve Martin" SNL retrospective.
I believe that it is Howard Johnson on Bass.  Great Tuba player also.
Check out his tuba sextet, "Gravity"   amazing!!!

For those of you who stayed up even later, Howard Johnson was on stage
behind Paul Simon and James Taylor on another old clip on SNL.  He was
playing his Mahallion tuba in a quasia cajun-dixieland number.
