If you want good Didjeridoo playing...
There's an extensive clip and solo of an authentic (looking at least)
aboriginee playing Didjeridoo on the video for Yanni's "Live From the
Acropolis"...  also has some Bass Flute stuff.

News hounds alert!  CNN Headline News tonight includes a segment on a park in
Australia that features a park ranger, Lester Ives, playing a huge
didjeridoo.  He doesn't get a whole lot of screen time, but for people
curious about this instrument, as I was, the camera gives an excellent view
of the horn and the technique.

Cheers--

"Resonite".... No; I wouldn't think so, but it's always possible...  but
maybe "Registrar".  I now have 3 Selmer Paris Harmony Clarinets; and they
are all marked either "Registrar" or "Depose" under the Selmer Logo.  For
Any one interested, I have a Series 9 Bass Clarinet (It's officially mine
know, bought it a few weeks ago; though I've been playing it for years.) a
Q-Series Alto Clarinet and a newer Eb Soprano (a Recital; I think...).
Hope I could Help

A friend of mine (I've mentioned her before) has a very strange contralto. It
is resonite and a Selmer Paris, which seems like a contradiction. She swears
it is labeled "Henri Selmer Paris [next line] RESONITE". Does anybody have
any clue on why a Selmer Paris instrument would be plastic, or is she just
hallucinating? BTW, I haven't seen the instrument.

Hey listers:

Has anybody ever tried to make a bass flute at home?  I am thinking of making
one out of pvc or abs pipe.   Does anybody have any ideas, or
thoughts/opinions?
