An old Evette-Schaeffer bass saxophone is a rare horn to find. Be careful though, for it more than likely will have a double octave key (mine does). But it is a great playing instrument, nonetheless!

I just wanted to let everyone know that my beautiful silverplated Conn bass sax (1925, serial number in the 154,XXX range) is presently for sale, as I need money to buy another instrument that I have my eye on! It is in beautiful playing condition, and comes with its original hardshell case!
I paid $5,000 US for it, and that's what I need to get out of it to do this other transaction.
Interested parties can see a photo of the horn at; http://www.inforamp.net/~lederman

Is anyone going to the NAMM show in Los Angeles this month? Does anyone have a spare guest pass (hint, hint)?
