Subject: just for your amusement

Just for the amusement of the readers of this list, I have upload some pictures of a few contra instruments. Also 3 or 4 pictures of the Conn Instrument Company not too long after the turn of the century. There is also a mystery picture of a large sax -- that I am curious if any viewers might now something about. The picture is of low quality, but interesting.

Subject: bocals anybody

I seem to get a lot of request for information on where to get bocals. Does anybody have a clue? The most recent request came from Tim Holmes who wants hints on locating bocals for a Gautrot Contra Sarrusophones. If you can helpout, he can be reached at armusic1@concentric.net

Hello Grant and fellow decahertz fetishists,

Noticed you've been busy on the new site - keep up the good work!

You should enjoy seeing a lovely subcontrabass tuba at the URL below. I'm still collecting contrabass trombone links. If any listees have any, reply to d.j.e.nunn@dur.ac.uk .

All the best,

Douglas Nunn
