Does the contrabass sarrusophone really stand out? This disc
doesn't cost much,
but is it worth the price of admission for the sarrusophile???

Hi Jim,
The sarrusophone appears on only one track, but it is clearly
prominent. The track in question is entirely woodwind (all done by
Lenny Pickett), behind one of Ginsburg's recited poems, and the
sarrusophone provides essentially all of the bass (the track is even
free of percussion). Frankly, I like it a lot, but that is the only
track on the CD that I find interesting. If this were available on
iTunes, it would be a perfect case for buying only one track of a CD.
Enjoy!
Grant
