One of my teachers told me about a small organ in Switzerland tuned in meantone, which had electrically-operated levers shading the tops of pipes to change their pitch in combination with certain keys -- to change Eb to D#, etc.  He said it worked very well.  But I'd imagine this would be impractical in a very large organ with many pipes.

Does anyone know of any contrabass trombones (that even might be for sale) other than the new Miraphones and the old Conn that Roger Bobo had?  Did all of the "big" companies of yesteryear make a contrabass model?
Best Regards,
Steven, who's playing more and more tuba.

How about "the world's best" contrabass trombone:  http://www.hornguys.com/kanstulcontra.htm
Not that I'd know if it's best.

Hi everyone-

Is there an old Conn contra for sale somewhere? Can someone point me to it?
