They host a museum of making music on the ground floor:

They have many visitors and seem like a natural fit for the tour you describe. I forwarded your post to an event planner that works there.

Hey Grant,
  Just wanted to share some pretty cool news with you.... Blaise is playing Contrabass Sax this evening at Del Mar for the Violent Femmes!    His premiere performance, at a Rock Concert!  Pretty cool Huh?!!
   I am sure it will be a fun experience ~ I'll let you know how it goes`
