Just noticed - the record company's website has a free mp3 download of "Zippin" from the CD.

Enjoy,

Hi everyone, in about a months time I will be involved in a performance of the chamber symphony by John Adams. Those of you who know this piece out there will be familiar with the extremely demanding contra part (not to mention the bassoon part, and basically every other part also...) All the fast notes I can handle, however the constant use of high B natural is getting to me, I'm wondering if anyone has a good fingering???? My own fingering is a bit too stiff and quiet for my liking. The piece also has a top D at the end of the first movt....another one I hope somebody can help me with??? That register seems to be quite elusive, notes higher are ok, but D and B are a real pain. If it helps, I am playing a fox instrument for the concert. I've taking a couple of fingerings I've found on the net already, so far they don't work. I would be grateful for any tips anyone could offer.

thanks
