According to Ray,

>    Next year's event is on Sat Dec 21st, and we are already booked for Xmas
>In The Park, and Eastridge. I hope you and your family have the time to join
>us.
>    CD's? Call Fred Wahl at (408) 262 - 8035 and he can give you the info. He
>has CDs from all of our shows for the past 4 years. I'm afraid i don't know
>how much they are going for - you have to ask him.

So, there you have it: call up Fred and order a few.  I *think* they
were around US$15 per CD.  Maybe has has a bulk rate ;-)

Date: Tue, 18 Dec 2001 22:44:28 -0800

I just received the sad news from my friend Serge Bertocchi, president of the French Saxophonists' Association-
he knew Monsieur Mule, and coordinated his 100th birthday celebration in June.

2001 has been a sad year in the classical saxophone world, losing Sigurd Rascher in February, and now M. Mule.
They both had extraordinarily long and creative lives, however, and their legacy will always be with us.

May the holidays bring you peace and comfort,

>At the rehearsal, Ray talked a little about the contrabass sax (and
>the sarrusophone), and mentioned that if anyone wanted to bring a
>contrabass sax next year, he wouldn't even charge them the $12
>registration fee ;-)  Jay, you game for next December?  Worth attending.
>Even more worth participating.  I'll mention it
>again next November... ;-)

It sounds like a blast- I will try to be there if at all possible!
The sooner I know the date, the better, so if you hear from Ray,
please let me know.
Happy holidays, everyone!
