My impression is double walled metal clarinets are not
significantly heavier, if at all, than single walled metal
clarinets.  The outside layer is very thin.  I think that
the posts narrow significantly inbetween the two layers.
Since the total length to the inside layer is the same, this
gives some weight saving.  I will have to get out a scale.
