Subject: [CB] Wolf!
Did I mention that Guntram Wolf now has a web site? See
http://www.guntramwolf.de/index_e.htm, for pictures and details of
his contrabassoon design. He also has a few variations on the
bassoon: a quart bassoon (a fourth higher), a quint bassoon (a fifth
higher), and an octave bassoon (with simplified keywork). The octave
bassoon starts in the bass oboe/heckelphone/tenor sax range. He also
lists oboes, oboes d'amore, cor anglais, and baritone oboes, all
available in either French or Viennese keywork.Enjoy!
