Tuba duets, string bass duets, and bassoon duets should all work. I'd try Daniel Dorff's "Sonatina d'Amore" for two contrabassoons (1997, T. Presser, $9.95), and maybe Mozart's "Sonata for Bassoon and Cello".

Enjoy!

Almost forgot - and Donald Erb's "Five Red Hot Duets for Two Contrabassoons" (T. Presser).  Both this and Daniel Dorff's "Sonatina  d'Amore" are available at both J.W. Pepper and SheetMusicPlus - find the "classical search", and search for "duet" and "erb", or "sonatina" and "dorff".  Each one is under $10.

Enjoy!

Here's another question about 'The Boxer': what is the deep bass instrument under the li-li-li's? I thought it might be a tuba, but it sounds a little reedy. It's playing G#1 and F#1, assuming the key is B. Of course, in the pre-CD / DAT days, the pitch of songs heard on the radio could vary as much as a whole tone from what the artist intended. Usually sharp - playing the tape a little fast also reduced run time.
