Subject: Re: [CB] [CB Digest]On the note of the stand duggestion -- there is a company who
makes a stand specifically for a bass clarinet so no peg is
needed. It's been so long since I bought mine I don't remember
who it was from. It had a tripod with an adjustable heightcenter
post about 1" in diameter. On top of this was a rectangular
black rubber pad about 3/4" think with a lip surrounding the top
surface. The pad was about 4"x2.5". Check in as many music store
catalogs as you can - Harris Teller, etc.JJ - Repair tech in Denver
