Subject: [CB] RE rubber ballnanzaActually, thinking about this, maybe I only have 900. I
used to get the nifty surplus catalog in the mail. Some
place in Chicago. This was not a military style clothing
shop but rather a jobber who got all sorts of industrial
surplus, rejects, trim and bustouts. I got 1000 rubber
balls for ONLY TWO CENTS EACH. I kept thinking that with a
thousand of these things, sooner or later I would figure out
a use. So far littering the playroom has been the
principle use.I don't buy catalog surplus any more. Now I buy metal
clarinets on eBay. (I had never thought about this before,
but maybe there is a pattern.)

into a lawn sprinkler. A little bit of 5/8" copper tubing and some hose
components and voila a sprinkler. It's good to have a husband who owns a
machine shop to bore out the clarinet.Jean
