The last thing I want to do is steal somebody's original line.  The "speed of
light" question appears all over the place with slightly variant wordings,
including a bumper sticker sold at science fiction conventions (without
author) and many lists of humorous taglines, such as "Things People Wonder
About" on Cyber Quotations:

If something is a direct quotation from a known author, I won't use it
without attribution, and so, on the chance that this may be a Steven Wright
line, I won't use it again, unless someone can come up with a definite source
I could credit.  Using publicly available taglines probably isn't the
greatest idea -- we don't know where they've been.  Sorry.

"I have a map of the world; actual size.  People say, 'Where do you live?'
and I say, 'E5.'  Last summer I folded it."

"I got a puppy and I named him 'Stay.'  It was really fun when he was
younger.  I'd say, 'Come here, Stay.  Come here, Stay.'  Now that he's older
it just ignores me a keeps on typing.  I have the oldest typewriter in the
world.  It types in pencil."

I love Steven Wright.  I saw him at Northwestern University.  I was in the
very front row, the dead center seat.

I have remembered a lot of his stuff.  I also like, "It's a small world, but
I wouldn't want to paint it."

I could go on reciting those for a very long time.

Subject: [CB] migot

i was looking for some contrabass clarinet solos and i came across Migot's
Prelude (advertised on the back of clarinet works as a purely c/bass
clarinet work) unfortunately written also for contrabasson or string bass.
well you'd think they'd include a Bb part at least written in treble
clef....but no, concert pitch bass and tenor clef. not going to stop me
though...the piano part's a killer! anyone got/know of any GOOD Bb
contrabass clarinet solo's out there? unacc/acc?
kindest regards,
rich.

Subject: [CB] Leaking Bassoon Key

I would like some advice on how to repair a leaking bassoon key.  My low
Db/C# keys is leaking badly and it really messes up my low notes.  I really
would like to fix this by myself.  Any help please?
