This morning I found that I have two extra copies of the illustrated
catalog of the Musee de la Musique, Paris, which I visited in August
1999.  It's in English, 66 pages, profusely illustrated, highlights
include a case of 8 Sarrusophones, serpents, a case of instruments by
Sax (including his revolutionary bass clarinet, which is essentialy
straight*), numerous examples of instruments from the French court
including Hotteterre recorders, and a Grassi curved cor anglais, a
Richters tenor oboe and an Eichentopf oboe d'amore.  Write me privately
if interested.

the Klarinet list]}
