Subject: Another keyed bugle? Here they come again:
- A keyed bugle in C, made circa 1830, at http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=63792096. Opening bid is $1K....
- A 3v Eb tuba at http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=63966530, at a considerably lower starting bid...
- An "Alto Horn" at http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=63934624, billed as a wall hanger. The interesting thing is that they instrument pictured is actually probably a C melody saxophone...
- A brass King sousaphone at http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=63817702.
- *A 9-key ophecleide*, at http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=63801153. Unsigned, but apparently 1840's vintage...
Enjoy!

We have a number of clarinet choir pieces in the folder this season, all of which use *both* contralto and contrabass clarinet (I lend the contralto to the second bass clarinetist for those). If nothing else, come and hear "Roman Carnival" and watch me try and tongue all those triplets on a contralto clarinet ;-)
My daughter has promised to make her "Killer Fudge" brownies...
Enjoy!
