Subject: Re: Sudrephone?  Oui.

Grant, I thought you know everything.  A Sudrephone is a brass
instrument made by Francois Sudre, invented 1892, with a cut out and a
flap near the leadpipe that creates a sympathetic vibration like a
kazoo.  Arnold Myers has one. They made a whole family of them.   An old
issue of LARIGOT has illustrations.

My Bb bass Sarrusophone by Couesnon, 1921, arrived today.  Gorgeous
condition.  Someday I'll make a reed for it.
