Subject: subwoofer menace

It seems to me I read a short story once where a deadly weapon was made of
an "infrasonic whistle", that being simply a scaled-up police whistle a few
feet across.
        Also possibly a sci-fi story where the aliens' weapon was a sonic
blast consisting of the "resonant frequency of the human body" which would
cause people to explode.
        And, in line with my recent bemusement, the digeridoo list has had
recent discussions about "healing with didge sounds" and one participant
was warning people that the aborigines treated this technique as a risky
and dangerous technique to be used only by the most experienced shamen.
        Seems like there are a few sources for your mad musicians to find.
