Subject: Sarrusophone Spotted!
Hi,
Another Conn Eb contrabass sarrusophone has been spotted, this time in
Nazareth, PA (at the Nazareth Music Center). Unfortunately, it is part of
a private collection, and *definitely* not for sale. I called and asked.
Thanks to John Matras for mentioning it to me.
Anyway, anyone in Pennsylvania interested in *seeing* one in person can
check it out there: I guess it is on display.

Subject: Sarrusophone list
Hi,
I'm considering running a second list, specifically for sarrusophones.
This would not be a "digest" type list like list@contrabass.com, just the
occasional post whenever a sarrusophone is spotted for sale. There are a
number of people who have asked me to notify them when I run across an
instrument for sale, and it occurred to me that combining them all in a
list would be the most efficient way to handle it. I anticipate about one
post every few months, and would simply run it as an alias in my email
software (i.e., there will be no posted digest, or list software to contend
with).
Anyone interested?
