You can forward that and this one, too!! Even though it sounds like an
easy job, it's quite difficult to sift through hours and hours (about 9
or 10) trying to decide what to keep and trying to keep the whole thing
cohesive and simple.
I should've done the easiest thing....made VHS dubs of ALL the material
with burned-in timecode, and let someone else connected with the
Contrafest make up a paper edit-decision list (EDL.)
I love watching all the performances though, so it's a great project for
me, and I apologize that it's taking so long. I have to fit it in during
after-work hours!

Subject: More Instruments FS

Here's today's roundup:

BBb sousaphone:  "A vintage instrument by Ohio Musical Instrument Co.
Silver finish, tarnished. Many dings but presentable-you won't worry about
that first dent. $400 + shipping"
URL = http://brookmays.com/classifieds/BBbSousaphone.html

Besson 4-valve compensating EEb tuba, $1950 OBO
Conn 88H trombone, like new, $1,400 OBO
Getzen Single F Horn, $500
all at URL=http://brookmays.com/classifieds/tubatromboneandFrenchhorn.html

The Woodwind & Brasswind is listing (under "USED") a Heckel bassoon, for
$19.5K, a Leblanc BBb contrabass clarinet for just under $5K (you might
want to check whether it is low Eb or low C), a Leblanc EEb contralto
clarinet for $3,695.00 (apparently the curved model: again, you might want
to check if it is low Eb, low D, or low C), a Blessing sousaphone for $500,
a Besson Eb tuba with case for $3.2K, and several CC tubas ranging from
$2.7K to $4.2K.

Enjoy!
